If can only buy one CRK folder, which one?

From Monday to Friday small seb 21 is my choice but the rest of the week mnandi is the king - the best gentelman - sunday knife on the market in MHO.

Probably just the old Large 21 Sebenza it does everything I need and then some it's a little on the large side but i'd rather carry too much blade than to little on most occasions.

I have been carrying the Mnandi for over a week. Starting tomorrow I will begin to carry my new Small Regular Sebenza.

I have a "new to me" Large Regular Sebenza I've just started carrying. I'm starting to like the large better. It carries so well in the pocket, practically disappearing in even thinner slacks pockets. The profile is so thin, and overall, the Large is still quite lightweight or it's size.

I started to carry the Small Regular Sebenza and I have just cut paper. The overall quality is nice, but the action was not as smooth as my mnandi. The sebenza felt like a small tank while the mnandi a classy car. These knives are different but built with style. Once I get the Sebenza as smooth as the mnandi, then I wouldnt be able to decide b/w them. Either one would be nice to carry, but the mnandi is a special knife due the feel and looks.

That would be an easy choice for me. It would be my large regular Sebenza in BG42 steel.

Have you ever considered selling the BG 42? My small regular is also BG42 with certificate and original box. It appears they are selling well.

Yes I almost sold it a few weeks ago to pay for another Seb purchase but thank goodness the deal fell through! LoL! I don't really know if I could have sold it or not when the time actually came. Know what I mean?

Yes I understand completely. My regular small sebenza came with the original 14 year anniversary box and all original paperwork. The opening action is smooth. I finally learned to open it using my thumb nail rather than the meaty part of my thumb. The unlocking is still rough, so I'm sending it to CR for a tune up. It's only been displayed by the dealer and I maybe cut paper five times to test the blade, but it may need some overall cleaning or new washers. CR said they can get it working smoothly for me. When it returns, then I'll make the decision. I don't safe queen my knives, so I'll either use it or sell it.
Thank goodness I have another CR folder (mnandi) I'm using while I wait.

My first cousin showed me the first Chris Reeve knife I ever saw back around 1993 or 94. It was a large Seb lefty in ATS34 no pocket clip. I was fascinated by the outstanding workmanship and how smooth the knife operated. I knew right then I would have one someday. Over the past years I have owned several CR knives including a Zaan, several Sebs including Classics, 21's and regulars, a Green Beret, and a Project 1. I ended trading most of them off for other knives but have always kept my BG42 Seb. I prefer the Classic or 21 over the regular because I like their blade shaper better but have kept this paticular one due to it being a BG42 blade.

Yep, which is precisely why I won't be thinking about selling mine any time soon. Mine also still has the CRK "post-it" pad and original receipt with the knife. :)
