If cost wasn't a consideration, what knife would you get?

If cost was no issue, and I had the money to burn I'd pretty much just get whatever I wanted.

I don't have anything in particular on the radar at the moment. But for me I'd run the gambit most likely. I'm not a knife snob, I'd buy up lots of plain old production knives and some customs as well. Just whatever catches my eye basically.

I'd REALLY love to have an original Bill Bagwell Hell's Belle Fighting Bowie.

The Busse Gladius Hispanicus:

Since I have no practical use for a Gladius, spending a few thousand isn't in the cards.

Probably a damascus large Sebenza with an opal inlay and gorgeous anodized graphics etched into the handles.

Lile First Blood #10, SHBM, Damascus/handle inlay sebenza, the first cc #1 spyderco whatever model it may be

+1 I'd get on a custom slip joint makers list like Bose, Erickson, Halfrich, Pena, Menefee, T.A. Davison, Coats, etc.

everything by R.W.Loveless,Tony Bose,Ron Lake,Scott Cook, the list is endless really...

I could easily spend a million dollars on knives.:)

I'd get Demko and Emerson to collaborate on a mirror image (for each pocket) pair of super sized Gentleman Jim folders. Ernie does the blade. Andrew does the handle and final assembly.

Blade... ZDP189 @ .200" (4.5" sharpened edge... guess that makes an almost 5" total) hand ground by Ernie. No thumbdisk... Wave only. Same blade finish as his Specwar customs.

Handle... Ti slabs @ .200" with dual integral bolsters (like Espada series) with black G10 scales of the same texture as production Emersons. Drilled/tapped for tip up L/R to carry with approx 1.5" of butt exposed when in the pocket... lanyard hole too. Full Ti backspacer. TriAd lock.
