If i am gonna drop $200...

Oh I completely understand the costs, and 200 is very affordable to me for something that I an going to love, that has no price tag right there. Just trying to decide between S30V or S90V in the Yojimbo 2 because it's going to be the last folding knife I buy for a good while...well I think I just made my decision.

Thanks all

I'm dying for the Spyderco Yojimbo 2 in S90V, now if I am in fact going to drop $200 on my next blade here, are there any others that I should check out at no more than $200? Or is the Yojimbo 2 gonna be my best bang for my b buck at $200 for S90V?

Other question. ..is the difference in S30V and S90V significant? Like $100 dollars worth the difference because I can get the Yojimbo 2 in S30V for $100...HELP Y'ALL! !!

Depends on how you are planning on using the knife and how much really.

S90V will hold an edge for quite a bit longer than S30V, but if you aren't using it a lot and or cutting abrasive media then I doubt you would notice much of a difference.

You are getting both S90V and Carbon Fiber for that extra $100 so if that's worth it to you then go for it.

Spyderco does a good job with both steels so you won't be under steeled with either of them so it will come down to your personal needs or wants in the end.

Recently picked up a NIB ZT0750 for under $100. Very nice for the price if you like the style. A little different but I like it. The closest thing in the collection is my Spyderco Merlin.
(only negative is when you pull it out people freak:eek:)

Its not the materials that make Spyderco Sprints cost so much more. Its the exclusivity. So if you ok for paying a lot more for that than go ahead. For me the base modles are where the value is. S30V will and can hold its own to any new super steel today.
For $200 bucks the nicest knife I think you can get right now is the Reate titanium framelock models. If they were made in American they would be $400-450 easily.
