If I broke my Rat Daddy some how due to normal use, would the warranty get me a new differentially heat treated Rat Daddy?

Nope unless they had blanks. You would get the value of it when it was offered.

This is my understanding of the warranty.

Now if that worries you I will gladly take it off your hands and abuse it.

They will take care if you with a current model.
What were u doing if u don't mind me asking?

I haven't broken it and don't plan to. This was strictly a what if. I knew its not just a discontinued blade, but it also has the differential head treatment which isn't done any more. I wasn't sure what the deal was with such a blade.

If you were to break your Rat Daddy, we would take care of you with a shop credit for the price of the knife when we sold it.

Lol. I don't mean square in half... but the tip? Who knows. I beat the snot out of it.

...this thread needs a pic.

To tell you the truth, it wasn't so much breaking my rat daddy, that sparked the question. It was more so the fact that it was diff heat treated and SRKW doesn't do that any more, as far as I know. I have 3 differentially heated treated rats... it made me wonder.

Would love to have more of the DHT models. What are your other two?

Dog Skinner is not DHT'ed.
Desert Jack and M6 were the smallest to get DHT,
