If I broke my Rat Daddy...

Awesome. Wish I had been in on the 'Rats from the get-go.

HK, loads of patience, quick trigger finger, and lots of time trolling Exchange and eBay and it should not take you more than 3 years to get a set. ;)
It took me just over 2 years to get the old school micarta Rats (ok, one has been moded to high polish and wooden handles).

Ya, I need to start working on the old school rats. The exchange has been good to me, though. So far I've owned, sold, or have coming RMD CG, DMD, RT, RS, R4, M9LE, HC 4", andInfi RMD. If I would lay off from buying RMDs I'd have a lot more funds for other models LOL :D

I'll have 5 when Infidu and Beefdu arrive to join CG, LE & DMD.
Will have to put some funds aside for RMDX... Luckily I have a local source for that one... ;)

Wow... envy... particularly on the last one...

You've been around here longer than I have. Step up your search game! I find a knife I want, and then badger the hell out of the last guy I can find on the exchange that bought one. Following the trail is half the fun. That, and make friends with the bigger Busse dealers. A lot of them are sitting on old rats and hogs they didn't even know they had. I'd like to think I've saved more than a few safe queens.

:D Wish i could afford it! I am blessed in other ways that unfortunately reduce my knife-budget. I've let plenty pass on by for this reason, mostly rats and customs, but i raise a glass to those who make the pursuit and succeed

Trust me, I know. I wish I had the funds to devote to knives like some people do. I was on a dangerous run for a while. Buying what I had no business buying.
