If I could only have three folders

A very hard question, and one that my answer may be different if you ask me next month but:

*Small Classic Micarta Sebenza
*Burger EXK1
*Benchmade mini Rukus (Gotta have one large tank folder!)

I feel like posting about cheaper knives is almost irrelevant in a forum with so many "collectors," but out of my 13 folders, these are my 3 favorites:

3. Spyderco Delica 4 FFG Green
C11FPGR.JPG

Slim, solid but lightweight, green, great ergos, and great blade steel. Excellent EDC! Prefer thumbstuds to the hole though.

2. Benchmade Mini Griptilian 556

Solid, superb ergos, great blade steel, axis lock. Another perfect EDC blade!

1. SOG Mini Vulcan

That's right, a SOG is my favorite knife, ban me! Rapid deployment, flipper, solid lockup, great blade steel, nice recurve, deep carry pocket clip, highly textured handles, good ergos, overall an awesome looking and performing knife. Still don't understand the SOG hate.

The last three of my folders would have to be representative of my interests:

Vic SAK ALOX Farmer
Buck 110 (Specifically, a Custom Shop variant.)
ZT-0301

Apologies to my BM's, Kershaws, & Bokers!

Stainz

1. Wenger SAK (model unknown) that my Grandpa gave when he was alive.

2. Vic Camper my wife gave me. She had it for 15 years and gave it to me for my birthday when we were flat broke.

3. Old Hen & Rooster stockman in stag.

Frank

Right now have to say Emerson A-100
Case cv small texas jack
New model Recon 1 clip I've been carring at work for about 2 months straight

Benchmade 551BKD2 (don't like the black coating wish it didn't come with it but w/e, love the ergos and steel%
Benchmade 580 (love the Axis assist, fastest assisted opening knife I own and locks up like a bank vault)
Kershaw Scallion (classy looking knife, just like it in general)

I carry a SOG Twitch XL at work everyday, great little knife, I just wish they wouldn't emblazon their damn name all over the knife.

Wow, only 3? It's probably be these:

Small folder: A slip-joint & most likely my Joe Allen Eureka Jack with stag handles & S30V Wharncliffe main blade & ATS-34 Pen blade.

Med. folder: Probably my Spyderco PPT. It's not real small, but at 4.25" closed & a low-rider clip, it'd be my smallish modern folder. 3 1/8" S30V blade doesn't hurt, either.

Lg. folder: Would have to be my lg. reg. Seb., which currently has a fluted CF scale on it. I believe it is 4.75" closed with a 3 5/8" S30V blade.

If I need a bigger folder, then I really need a FB.

Of those I already possess, it would be the following:

-- Kershaw Volt

Very easy to carry, very sharp, and built to take whatever you dish out.

-- Ontario Retribution I

BIG, tough, did I mention BIG. Built like a brick dookey house!

-- Case Humpback Whittler in black G-10

Three blades, sharp, sharp, sharp. Takes care of all those little

jobs, and some big ones!

But thankfully I'm NOT limited to just 3 folders!! I have too many that I really like!

If I am restricted to my own collection, I would choose the following three knives:

1. EKA Swede 60, strong knife for the heavy work
2. Opinel #8, excellent slicer for food preparation
3. Böker Stockman, for everything else

My favorites are

small sebenza
large sebenza
Custom Slipjoint(to hard for me to pick which pattern)

Pimped-up Spyderco Stretch2, ZDP blade reground a MM thinner, with crowned spine and wood scales.

XM-18, or new ESEE Hest-folder. Lefty version, of course.

Fallkniven TK, Spyderco Kopa or Mcusta three-incher.

If I had to pick just three they would be for usability:

Hinderer XM18 3.5"
CRK Small Sebenza
Vic SAK Alox Pioneer
