If I got to keep one for myself -- Koi Bowie

Very Nice package. Did you take it out of the quench and back into the quench while it still had color to get the double hamon? how do you do the epoxy coating on the cord wrap? i dont see a shiny coating on the wrap?

Sorry, I can't help it. My smart aleckiness is getting the better of me. In the words of Patrick Swayze, "not bad for a blind white boy". :)

One hellaciously fine looking knife, Mikey. Might need to alter my ordered knife. ;)

B-Goode -- I understand what you mean now -- yes, I did profile it before grinding in the plunges.

Mete -- I know what you're talking about. I seem to see hamons in the strangest places. I remember seeing the clouded faded paint on a car and thinking "wow, that would be an interesting hamon." :D

Terry -- I didn't take it out at all. I stuck it in the Park's 50 and left her there. :D

The epoxy is from West System and was recommended from Mr. Dempsey. It has a very low viscosity so it soaks in almost like super glue, but keeps it protected like epoxy without the shiney look.

Michael, OH that is sweet. Tell them you must have lost their order, but will be glad to make them another.
