If I see a knife in this color.....I have to buy it

I remember a time when I got tired of buying ABKs. Another Black Knife. Now the options are endless and I rarely will choose black. (Exceptions made for Protech of course). But if I see Lime Green, I'm immediately interested. If I see Red, I'm pulling the trigger right away. I bleed scarlet and grey for my local squad, so I always have a matching knife when I watch games. Honestly, companies could make a lot of money selling school specific knives with colorways and logos. Non-knife buyers would snap them up as gifts. What colorway is your weakness?

Lately, anything that ISN’T natural or black micarta, or box elder, bog oak or macassar wood. I’m bored.

Whenever I can get away with it, I prefer most any kinda wood handle. I really like Osage as it darkens with age and oils from the user's hand. I like that it reflects time and use. Of course I like the red and chocolate wood tones, like most folks I think. I also like a bit of curly birch, just cause it's the fanciest wood you can naturally find in my neck of the woods.

When it comes to the man made scales, I really like brown micarta. Burlap micarta, coffee bag micarta, linen micarta, etc. When I just have to take a normal color G-10, I like tactical peanut butter colored. If that's not an option, green, then finally....black.

I do like blaze orange, and high viz bright colors from time to time, but it really has to be the right kinda knife.

There was a thread devoted to orange a few years back. I really like orange on my gear as it helps me in the field if I set something down, but I never had an orange knife until this month. I love this one.

I've been fighting the wantsies for an M07 like that for months now. I have an M95, but the M07 seems the perfect size for any use I would have for it. Very nice knife!
