If I send a knife to Spyderco to be sharpened, generally speaking...

how long would it take to get it back? I'm teaching myself to sharpen, and for some reason am having more trouble sharpening my Spin than my Kershaw Leek (I know there is a major steel difference, but even increasing the strokes, I just can't get it...), so I'm thinking of sending the Spin to Spyderco to get it fixed up, in case I accidentally put an obtuse edge on it.

Thanks guys!

I sent a Delica in, it took about a 10-14 days. It came back very sharp. Spyderco did an excellent job, but what do you expect. :)

I just sent in my newly-acquired brass-lined CoPilot (serrated edge) for resharpening on Thursday. I'll keep you posted on how long it takes to come back.

Yours took 10 days too? Hmm, I'll probably end up sending it in a couple weeks or so, assuming I can't get it sharp myself [by some miracle].
