  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

If I Were To Criticize Spyderco , an' I Think I Will , It Would Be The Unchamfered Handle Slots

I’ll probably be in the minority here, but I don’t mind the edges, especially on working knives, which most of mine are.
Now, I absolutely appreciate the finer details of radiused edges, highly polished flats and so on, but I also appreciate the extra time, effort and costs associated with such luxuries on knives that are already over priced. Not a shot at Spyderco, everything is overpriced.

I thought it was just me. I just use sand paper on a flat stick and chamfer the FRN scales and also G10 scales with nested compression locks. I often hit the opening hole too.
I vastly prefer the feel when the edge is not abrupt, but I can understand I might not get this from a factory knife and I can solve in 10 minutes.
