I like all knives, and all knives have certain tasks that they perform better than others.

So, like you OP, I like both. But Ethan is correct in saying "most" everyone either likes one or the other. Most hunters that came to the booth, like the Clip better. Most others liked the Drop.

Most folks migrated tot he drop point though, I do have to say that. Even over the trailing point.

I'm more of a hunter than a bushcrafter, so I like the clip point. I also prefer the looks of the clip point.

However, if the BK-16 comes with a full flat grind as indicated by Ethan...

71/28/57 at this point.

It DOES seem Ethan knows precisely what he's talking about. Perhaps the final numbers (about one more day) may prove to be of some lasting use, though.

I've always used a clip point for skinning deer. But drop points are my overall favorite. Voted drop point.

Looks like this is the final tally: 86/28/64. In other words: 48.3%/15.7%/36%.

The clip point does get love ... but that drop point is King.

I wonder what the difference would be if there was no "I like both" option?

I like both, but responded that I like the clip better :).

Only one way to find out!!

I trust I shall soon be seeing a poll posted by Msr. ocnLogan?

I like the clip point more the the drop but neither come close to a spear point. IMHO :D

I like both, then again it depends on the design, purpose and functionality of the knife.

Like others...Depends on the knife and depends on the task at hand. I will likely buy one of each of the "shorts" in March, might be an interesting poll to do again after that.
