If It's Hot, Drop IT !!

I have another thing to remeber this by...when it smells like roast pork...drop it..! been there...done that :)

Junior high metalshop class. My first experience with forging (a cold chisel) I had placed in a very specific spot in the sand to cool. When I came back at the end of class, I found out (the hard way) that someone else REALLY liked my (now cold) cold chisel, and left their crappy (and just out of the forge) one in my specific spot. I was about 10 or 12 feet away from the coolig box before I felt the burn.... Man that hurt.

Hey, Isn't there a song called "Drop It Like it's Hot" by Snoop Dogg or some other rapper? Maybe that should be Master Williams' theme song when ever he enters the room. ;)

I did that once, not to bad though. It is hard to resist the instinct of trying to catch something when dropped.

Hope you heal up quickly.

I am sorry to hear that.

After I got divorced, I rented a cheap apartment. I had been into the "hair of the dog" and I got hungry. I had some frozen chichen things in the freezer and popped them in the oven on broil. I put the rack on the top shelf. (did I mention I was drunk?)

I went to turn the things and I did not have any tongs (I didn't even get kitchen utensils), so I reached my hand in the oven and flipped one. I hit the burner. I flipped the other one, and yes, I hit the burner. (did I mention I was drunk?)

As Arnold Schwartzenwhoziewatsit said in, I think, Commando, "You shouldn't drink and bake" :o
