If only my Spyderco mini-dyad had a clip (it's the FRN; I have 3 of them; 2 LNIB). It's a deep pocket carry during the week, but on the weekend, when I'm in sweats or shorts, I don't dare carry it for fear of losing it.

I've owned almost the entire line of Spydercos, and have reached the point where I realize I prefer the approximately 2" long blades. But, many of them are too wide - I prefer the more slender shape of the blades on the mini-dyad.

If VNox made a locking blade that was about 2" long, it would be perfect (i.e., not expensive, and good for my purposes).

Any suggestions for a locking knife that's about 2" long, with a clip or lanyard hole, that isn't so wide as the usual Spydies? The dragonfly is close, but still wider than I like (plus the plastic clip doesn't seem to hold as well as I'd like).
I have a couple Kopas, too - but they're too expensive to carry around (I lost one a couple years ago).

How's the new etched Cricket? Grippy? Generally, I don't find SS handles to be grippy enough...

So much for the b$tching ;)

You could probably attach a clip to one of the small Bucks... the 503 or 55 would be perfect for your needs.

The cutting edge of the blade is just at 2.25", widest point when closed is 7/8", it's about a quarter inch thick and 3.5" closed. The 55 is a clip point and the 503 is a drop point.
