If only one Benchmade...and why?

My favorite of all time is the AFCK 800. (Always on the lookout for more.) Great finger protection, good liner lock (can be a gravity knife although I don't use it like that), good steel (ATS-34), very good self-defense for a knife (no, I would not use it --- or any knife as such), light weight, classy (almost as good looking as a 710 --- the 710 doesn't have very good finger protection IMHO), ahead of it's time, Spydie hole (a lefty can use easily due to liner lock and opening hole), as good as new, and so on.

I have to try the newer Benchmades. The AFCK with axis lock --- not new, but newer than mine. And items such as the contego, adamas, 940, 950, Rukus and anything with M390. (The bedlam looks great.)

Apologize if already covered but I'm new and some of you might have new knives. Pics welcome, of course.

P.S. I wish the Onslaught and mini-Onslaught had a lefty clip. Maybe a mini with a pouch or special pocket.

For me, it's the 806D2 AFCK! Feels very secure in the hand but the main reason is the geometry of the blade; it's just an awesome and efficient slicer.

For me it' s the 940 hands down. It' s good-looking, tough, super lightweight, axis lock., perfect clip...oh I could go on and on here:D

Mini-Onslaught easily one of my favorites. Also smooth as glass. The only knife I have ever had that is smoother than knives with ball bearing systems.

My favourite benchmade is probably the 32 Morpho (or the 42) -- fun to flip, good quality, but for EDC it's the mini-grip -- small and light, smooth action.

For the longest time it was my M2 & M4 Ritters, either mini or full size.
But, since I did the last mod on my 710 in M390 the grips have taken a back seat.
I love the long blade and the holes.

My usual EDC the last two years has been a Sibert designed 755 MPR in m390. It's a healthy but stubby knife (2.94" x .164") with the framelock side of Ti, and the other side of G10. The steel is easier than many high end steels to re-edge - and certainly retains it well. Here it is with a recently new member of Benchmade's 'Bone Collector' series - the 15050-2 'Lockback Folder' in cocobolo and non-stainless D2 steel:

Here is a newer Sibert design - the 275BK Adamas (3.82" x .160") in D2, which holds it's edge as well as the m390 - although it does take a bit more effort to re-edge.

The 275BK Adamas is shown with the 610 Rukus (4.25" x .150") in S30V - discontinued for several years. Both are 'robust' knives, with the currently available 275 Adamas series even having a more robust AXIS lock.

My long time favorite Benchmade is the 630 Skirmish - gone from th catalog for years and hard and pricey to find. The currently available little moose 755 MPR is handy to have while it's larger sibling, the 275 Adamas, can suffice for a back pocket bushcraft knife - pretty good selection!

Right now it's my 913 Stryker:

I should like the 581 Barrage better and I might come to like it more eventually:

Currently my favorite is my Ritter mini with custom scales. I do however have a 730-1202 Ares in m390 being delivered to me tomorrow that I am very excited about. I'm guessing that one is gonna take the top spot for me.

I really like all the Benchmades I have right now (just a few) but I'd say 805, 810 and 806 are my favorites in that order.
From left to right...
CPM-M4 Ritter Grip, 581 Barrage, 275 Adamas, CPM-M4/CF Rift, 810 Contego, M390 710, M390 806, M390 805.

ive had, and still have several Benchmades over the past 15 years, but my 755 is quickly becoming my all time favorite. i love a beefy knife

How do I choose just one?!
Ive always held my 707 Sequel close to the top because it was one of a few that started my addiction, but ive since become more fond of larger knives.
So, out of a dozen BM's, my favorite would have to be my SHOT LE Mini Onslaught.
It's #69 of 500, has a silky smooth axis-lock action, and has a great blade profile that happens to be made of one of my favorite steels, D2. The CF scales and blue anodized standoffs just ice the cake and even get compliments from those who are usually scared of my pocket pals.

My recent project, the ground down fixed blade Bone Collector. It's light, comfortable, D2 steel works great so far, G-10 handles are very comfortable and grippy.

I would have to say either one of my Adamas folders or my new Ritter w/ custom ti scales and a Les George clip! My Sibert is a bad little guy as well! Hard to pick just one!!

I'd go with the 581 if I could only have one.
I love the blade shape and steel. The size is a bit bigger than I prefer to EDC...I'd rather have the 585 in a build like the 581...but if only "1" it would be the 581.

AFCK 800 for me. The liner is rock solid after God only knows how many flippings, the ATS-34
holds its edge a long time, it's easy to sharpen and weighs less that my Axis version. Always
looking to buy another one in good shape.

My absolute favorites of the current BM lineup:

Mini Bone Collectors with walnut and G10 scales. Spydie hole, Axis lock, D2, great ergos, perfect EDC size... I couldn't ask for more.
