This is a real stretch I know. But I feel I have exhausted all other options.

First off hi, I'm pretty new here, so sorry for being a 'noob' if you will, and posting this in general discussion. Also for anything just plain stupid I may do :p

Alright. So as a balisong flipper, I have the misfortune of living in Canada, where knives opened by centrifugal force are illegal. Balisong trainers however are not because they are not and cannot be knives. This isn't trying to subvert laws. Just a small complication I need someone to help me overcome.

The request: I am curious if I could have somebody in the united states help me by recieving the Hom Prodigy Trainer, and shipping it to Canada.

I have the money and such and can pay for shipping, etc. But international shipping is not enabled on the website, meaning I need to have a receiver in the US ship it to Canada after it is ordered.

Pretty plain and simple, and I know the chances of me being scammed are rather high (no disrespect to the community). But it is either this trainer or the Bankvault of a bali: the BM62T.

Comments, questions, concerns? Feel free to leave your opinion :) all feedback is welcome.

Also to any admins, apologies if this is looked at as 'trading knives' I have no intent to use these forms as a method to gain money or product for free. This is just a favour I am asking for. If this violates any rules, you have my apologies.

Have you tried contacting the vendor to ask them if they will ship to Canada? Just because the option isn't on the website doesn't mean they won't if you call them. Might be worth looking into.

So. New guy with 34 posts posts wants one of us to help him break the law.

What could go wrong?!? Where do I sign up?!?

"I didn't break any laws officer, I just overcame a small complication."

Sorry, man, no thanks. I'll pass.

Not breaking the law, but I understand the confusion. Balisong are not banned from Canada by name, the bladed versions of them are catagorized as gravity knives. The trainers do not fit the description of gravity knives, or even a knife, and are therefore completely legal.

I had a Nigerian guy email me something like this before... I think he was a prince or something.

You may be honest in your beliefs...

But this is a real shady thing to ask someone to send something to you because the person selling it will not.

If it is not illegal in Canada then you might ask one of the Canadian knife outlets to order one for you and buy in Country...should be no problem because you said they are not illegal

Ah I see. Thank you for your viewpoint. I suppose I do not realise what I am asking from people.

An admin can go ahead and close this thread. This is probably best wrapped up.
