I've been lusting after the OD/Orange G10 ESEE-4 for a long time and I finally took the plunge. Ordered from Dale at TKC and it got to me a day or so later. I'm pretty sure he's got a TARDIS for shipping purposes hidden somewhere. :D

This is definitely the start of a potentially expensive addiction. :p

I'm still holding out for an ESE 4 with orange G10/black blade.

Will they ever make it a regular production model?

That's my fav. Congrats man! Now you can pair it with an OD izula with orange paracord wrap
 
I also want a black and orange 4 but I found some orange G10 scale blanks on ebay, so I might just get a black one and make my own,that would be pretty cheap if I can reuse the stock screws.I thought about getting one with orange handles and having the blade re coated but I don't want to lose the ESEE markings.I might just do this to my Izula and take off the orange paracord wrap.
 
I got bit by the orange bug after picking up some of Helly Hansen's Odin line, in combination with my North Face Skareb gunmetal gray and orange pack... now I'm working on an entire orange and gray/black kit. Rat Pack Knife, Skareb, Eureka Solitaire, fiskars field axe, Eco Survivor machete, Dozier Folder....
 
Just picked-up two RC-4's w/orange G-10 from Knifeworks. One for me, one for my brother's birthday on Monday. Thing is, once you get these knives in hand it's hard to turn'em loose.
 
When I first looked at ESEE's I thought the OD/orange was hideous... damn you all for making me kind of want that combo now :D
 
Got my orange handled 4 a few months back. Love the knife!
I am not really fond of bright colors but the orange handle is so irresistable

Killed it with its own knife an took it afterwards!
The knife probably looks better now :) ESEE knives look better when used/beaten up

That's definitely in the plans. Along with an OD/Orange 3. Wish I could buy everything in that color combo.

I started out the same way, but I grew to love the OD/Orange and just had to have it. :thumbup:
