i do get a lot of packages in the mail...:o mainly knives and gear....:)

i got this robert dark knife in the mail today, as well as my BF w & s patches..
i have always wanted to check out one of roberts blades... and i have also been looking for a knife in this size range... i'm stoked off of this one.. i scored it in a trade, from a fellow forum member...:thumbup: thanks again man..:D i can't wait to get out and play with this one, it's going to make a great woods/camp knife....

it's got a 6" blade, 3/16ths O1, natural Micarta... the leather sheath has a magnesium firestarter pocket. it is really well done... robert does some great leather work... i like it almost as much as the knife....:o
this knife is surprisingly light weight for it's size, and very comfortable in the hand.... though i think i might get a survival sheath made up for this one...

Beautiful blade! I like that top BF W&S patch! I was away when you guys did that project. I should check to see if any are available still?

Sweet blade and sheath! I really like that design of knife. The patches are cool too, can't wait to get mine. :D
 
Like alot of other folks said looks good. I really like the looks of natural maicarta. Your knife handle has its own grain pattern. Pat

Brian, I just received my patches today. I'll send one of those to hollowdweller to fw to you when he sends you your merit badges. Again, it's on me. Just please keep up the "priming the pump" posts like the ones you have been making here lately. Great information from yourself and all the contributors!

Mike is lucky to have a nice mailman. Mine is a jerk and I really don't like him at all. Of course he did deliver my patches today, so I'll spare him the kick to the groin and setting on fire for now! -Matt-

That is a good looking knife. Now that knife + sheath combo - Stunning! Almost makes me want to get a mag. bar even though I'm partial to the firesteels.
 
Good job Mike, that's a cool friggin knife and rig. Looks good with the patches?

I wonder that too sometimes re: the mailman's ignorance. I thought it was funny once when I ordered a 1000 rnd tin of rifle ammo, and he had to keep hauling it up the steps to my apartment every time he knocked (I was away the first two times). Weighed a ton!
