...If there could only be "One"...Busse ???

For me it would be my CGFBM. But I would settle for a few others I have in mind.

ONE?????????

The thought gives me goosebumps and the serious shakes!!!!!!

I've gotta go sit down now.

one

that is just wrong on so many levels. :p

For Martial Arts practice I really like double BWM CG, one in each hand. If I put them in the same sheath would that count as one Busse?

For me it's the HOFSH LE - Heavy Ordnance Fusion Steel heart Limited Edition, that's all I would ever need

I think, really, if I had to have only one, I would make it count.

INFI really shines in big, hard use choppers.

KZII (since this is the Biggest Baddest Chopper I own from them).

Although it would be tough to get rid of any of the others.

I think a person "needs" at least 5 or so to be in good shape.
Small, Medium-small, Medium, large, even bigger! then you have all your uses covered.

Then, of course, there are sub categories like small thick, small thin, medium thin thick in between, large light, large heavy, even larger heavier,

then you just plain have the categories like "awesome but not very practical" like the Gladius,

Or "would love to own one, but illegal here" like the AA's.

Don't need a chopper, that's what machetes are for. So, I see the SJTAC smooth bolt as the quintessential Busse.

Right now it would be my NMSNFO. It does most everything I ask of it. I think the new LE BJ will take that role though. I was hoping the proto BJ's were going to be that knife but they were way too thick for me.

I'm gonna have to go with the logo knife - Fusion Steel Heart!

I don't generally use mine but its medium size would fit the all rounder role nicely if I could only have one.

Sfno is still my one knife but since getting my battle pappy the other day i wouldn't mind taking it for the one knife only proposition!

well if you can only have one, you want the most cutting edge for your size. It can't be too small, but it can't be to big. The two most efficient knives made by busse in a blade length and mass to overall length ratio would be the SHBM and the BM-E. Either one of these two with the rear talon cut down to the contour of the handle would give the a 10 inch blade in an overall length of less than an FSH. So FBM performance from less than FSH length. Anything smaller than an SFNO would be useless as an only one knife scenario. Fine work is easy with an SHBM or BM-E, something that a bigger knife has a lot of trouble with, but hacking vegetation is also easy with them. Something that a smaller blade cannot do.

Due to issues, I had to pare my Busse's down to just 2. They are:

Straight Handle Badger Attack
AD from the Custom Shop, the first run

I really don't know how I would choose between these 2, but the SHBA would probably stay. They are both EDC knives.
