if you are seriously intetested today in a proto folder

The first one got to customer today. He likes it. The tumbled finish matched his countertops

Thanks Jeremy, "likes it" is a definite understatement.

You would have to start. With 2 million bucks. To make a million. Doing handmade folders. Lol. Its a process. During which till the very end can go to scrap in seconds.

Then I had better get one of the first-run ones while you can still afford to make them.:foot:

Jeremy,

If that SUPER UBER Rare double ground ever makes it into crreation, I would be the first to get in line for a chance at it!!!!

But in the meantime, these seem pretty badass.

The line for the double chisel starts behind me :p

ps: have to agree though that these look bad-ass regardless of grind

Jeremy- That's what fine tuning is all about. You would not believe all the tweaking that had to done to the Elishewitz designed Mission MPF folder before they got it right.

I will learn to like convex-chisel for a Horton Folder. I can always grind on it myself if I get tired of chisel, but I haven't really given it a chance on personal knives. I know it is really sharp, and that's a great thing.

I am way into sharp.

I wouldn't advise trying to change blade to double ground with a huge full height hollow grind in one side. Unless u plan on ruining it for your own amusement. I would rather u just bought what you wanted from someone else. Just sayin

I wasnt seriously thinking about buying a perfectly good Horton and screwing with it. I was just talking smack. When I first learned how to convex edges, I tried doing both sides on an old abused chisel folder and it never looked right afterwards
