If you could build your own GEC...

GEC have been releasing some realy nice designs lately but I'm curious what the ultimate GEC would be for the Bladeforum members

for me it would be a woodsman - based on the 72 or maybe the 73 it would have a mainblade, a saw blade and an awl (my prefered firesteel scraper.

Anyone else have a patter/design they'd like GEC to make...

#23 in lockback, though the #42 may have covered that. Also more in 440C and more 4 + inch stockmans. I like 1095 but why oh why is 440C so rare?

I would like to see a peanut variation, something around 3" serpentine with a spearpoint main blade, wharncliffe secondary
Swedging, longpulls.

I would love a serpentine jack with a clip point primary blade and a coping or short wharncliffe secondary.
In fact pretty much anything in this two bladed configuration. At least I haven't seen it, if there is one please tell me. :)

Ooh. I would second that one. And we need more long pulls.

I'd like to see large muskrat on a serpentine frame. Not the Mink at 3.5", and not on the large cigar tube frame. A true big muskrat.
And I would love to see their take on a Texas Jack.

A Scout knife maybe.

I'll have to see the #76 - as I've been waiting for a Gunstock-ish pattern

I would want to see an EO jack with a spear point and pen. Would be similar to their 85 except have a rounded off end bolster.

Congress with wharncliffe with drawn swedge and long nail pull, clip with cut swedge and long nail pull, sheepsfoot, and spearpoint in either bocote or primitive bone

I can think of two knives, one is #85 single blade with lockback and primitive bone. The second might be a Rope knife like the old Camillus with nicely cut sewedges the way GEC is doing so good and primitive bone :D

A scout knife in 1095 would be nice.

And some more wharnecliffblades and a peanut would be nice and so on and on.... ;)

Kind regards
Andi

I'm not sure of the blade combination, but I would like to see the round-end bolster.

Yeah-- those!

And/or:

3.25 jack (serpentine), thinner than their current 3" jacks
3.25 Barlow, UN-X-LD stamped bolsters

Yeah, what pertinux and Vangaurd said. I recently bought this Case off of the bay.

It is 3 3/8" closed, clip point and pen secondary. It is a substantial knife that easily rides in my pocket. In fact, I love all of the 1960-70s Case, swell end jack knifes they offered. If GEC made one of these with a clip blade and small wharncliffe secondary, scales like the 2011 BF knife, that would be pretty sweet
