If you could carry it, what would it be?

Well Allen, you can have kitchen knives or any other fixed blade in your home, just not carry, which is what this thread is about. As far as the plastic knives go I bet they would use it against you if you used it in the commision of a crime. If you look at Missouri case law a defendant's butter knife was canstrued as a lethal weapon. Of course, the fact that he was commiting forcable sodomy at the time also might have had something to do with that.

I'd love to carry a fixed blade... Unthinkable here.

Either my SOG Bowie or my soon to arrive Cold Steel SRK.
I AM going to carry the latter for hiking... FAR away from civilization. :D

Wally Hayes Tactical Katana

A Hawk of some sort preferably along the lines of the one Chingachgook carried in Last of the Mohicans

A Simonich Raven thrown in for good measure

and my usual EDC carry....

:D

One2gofst,
Man that really sucks.
So much for the "land of the free...".

My condolences,
Allen.

Thanks. I do not think a small fixed blade, so long as it is not being used maliciously, would be something a good lawyer could get you out of fairly easily. However, not having a ton of disposable cash, I find it a much better idea to follow the letter of the law at this point in my life.

I do like to rotate and always carry in tandem. The
range is from Cold Steel extra large Voyager tanto
to AL Mar SERE2000 and Al MAr Operator, to a pair
of Beauchop Alley Cats.

Hmm...I think it would be a Maddog Rezin 2000. Dundee rig across the back. :)
