If you could carry what ever you wanted with no fear of legal trouble what would you carry and why? Guns, knives, gun and knife combinations, baseball bats, rocket launchers, anything goes.
 
I can carry whatever knife I want. The only thing I'd add is the ability to carry a pistol....probably a compact .45 of some sort...
 
One nice balisong is all I need (aka BM 42). And it's gonna be a nice EDC with zero intention of using it as a weapon. Darn the stupid law. :grumpy:
 
If I could carry ANY weapons, I'd stick with my 10mm Glock model 20, but I'd also carry a Benchmade 5000 automatic.

(Of course a Glock model 18 would be fun to carry as well.:).).
 
I already carry all the gun I need--SIG P220.

I wish I could legally carry a balisong or my BM 630 Skirmish.

Already can, and do. Or, in the case of a firearm, eventually will. I love Arizona. :cool:
 
Though I love 1911s and have owned many of them, I currently carry a CZ PCR. Ergonomics are just perfect for me.

The fact that I can legally carry three or four guns on my person with 100 rounds off ammo for each of them, yet I can't carry my itty bitty semi-custom auto knife with a 2" blade for fear that I might go berzerk with it provides me with endless hours of fascination at how our legal system is based on unfounded fears rather than actual use.

BM 42 or one of the spydies. as a gentlemans knife... :cool: That's about it. I'm not really into autos or anything.
 
I'd carry the Glock 36 or the Para Ordnance LDA chambered in .45 ACP for great stopping power at close range. The DAO (double action only) system would help reduce liabilities due to carrying an auto loader cocked and locked.

The knife I'd carry would be the Tarani Strider fixed blade kerambit. That knife is...a serious piece of work. Nice ergos, razor sharp, light, nicely balanced. No locks to screw around with when the $$hit hits the fan.

Personally.. probably go with a Satin Jack. As to a pistol.. I kind of tend to think that if anyone could carry whatever they want that we would find less need to carry pistols overall. I'd probably just stick with a knife and leave the weight of the knife at home, though pepper spray would be a good idea.
 
I like the idea of a glock 18 :eek: lots of fun and still very carry friendly. I have a CCW in CT but haven't got around to getting my NY permit yet. Since I live in NY now I have carry withdrawls and I think this thread was spawned out of those.

I think it would be cool to be able to carry my Nimravus with out going to jail for it. And here and there I would like to carry my 44 redhawk just for fun. I bet it would make a great conversation piece (no pun intended) sitting on my hip.
 
If it were legal in my state, I would carry a Microtech Mini-UDT. It is a really nice slightly larger than keychain sized auto. I think it would make a neat gents knife. Oh well, I doubt if the law will ever allow it. :rolleyes:

Now thats not what I ment :p

My fist job was in a bike shop in So Cal and I used to have Seal Team One guys giving my pony tailed arse grief. Their was a Lt. Comander who I will never forget. Nicest guys in the world also the scariest.

Man I carry enough crap with me every day. I want to carry LESS stuff! I have stuff in every pocket of my pants and all four pockets of my jacket. I got Change, a wallet, cash, knives, keys, cell phone, sunglasses. etc. etc. And when I carry my gun I add a holster and a speed loader to that mix.

The last think I want to add is 10 or 11 lbs of battle rifle and ammo.
