If you could carry whatever you wanted legaly

YEAH, RIGHT... I live in Illinois. Gotta get rid of Blago, Daly, and all the other anti 2A jerkweeds. Now, let's say I can legally (and NO sheeple mentality exists...) carry whatever I want... hmmm, I'd go with my Colt 1911 and my OVB bowie, with my SAK for most of my cutting needs.

I can carry whatever I want legally right now. I have a handgun carry permit and knives aren't illegal in Indiana except for autos and I don't care for autos nor do I own any.

I don't carry a gun, though. Too much weight and discomfort and I don't go anywhere I feel threatened. I do keep a Gock .40 cal. pistol in my glove box. I usually have a pocket knife in my pocket. It isn't a weapon. It's just a cutting tool. Take care.

Handgun:
S&W #4006 .40 semi-auto or
S&W #686 .357 wheelgun or
Desert Eagle .357 or .44 semi-auto.

Rifle (OK a bit much for everyday carry)
Lever action .357 or
Bolt action .30-06 or
Maybe an HK-97 or an MP-5

Knife:
Any of my Holder or Easler hnting knives, maybe a Randall #7.

Stainless Colt Commander in .45 with XS Big Dot Tritium Night Sights.
Custom fixed blade, 5" traditional tanto, cord wrapped handle...perhaps a wonderful Burchtree custom. ;)

Maybe I'll get both of these if Santa is in a really good mood this year...but somehow I'm gonna guess I haven't been good enough. Legally, I could carry a fixed blade up to 5.5", but I'll have to wait two years to qualify for a CCW.

My mind boggles at the choices. If we're talking about some "Road Warrior" dystopia, I think I would shave my head and dress like, and act like, a Buddhist monk and travel as discreetly as possible.

But under the saffron robes would be a pistol-gripped Sten gun with a 15 round "blip" magazine, a Ruger Alaskan Redhawk, and a Phil Hartsfield wakizashi.

My travelling companion, a six-foot former women's beach volleyball champ, would be packing an M4 carbine and an artillery model Luger.

Our pit mix and German shepherd would just have their fangs.

I would carry a Microtech D/A OTF (never even handled one, so I don't know which one), and a .357 S&W Airlite revolver. Of course, I live in Canada, so I should be glad they let me own guns at all, and carry a Kershaw Scallion, let alone anything else.

Well lots of stuff coomes to mind but I'll go with:
Shivworks Disciple
Shivworks Clinch Pick
Bucheimer sap (for something a little less lethal)
and a P226 (for the heavier work)
