If You Could Have Any JK?

Personally, my faves are the compact combat/survival (great looking, all-around outdoors knife), and any of the hawks (nice chunk of solid steel...utilitarian and classy) .

I forgot all about a model that I really want......

I really liked the look of the combat/survival you did earlier this year, but hated the assymmetric grind -- in a symmetric grind that would be awesome.
I also really like the looks of the Phoenix -- and Machine's camp knife.
But if I had to pick just one -- it would be the Hudson Bay XL -- I just love choppers and knives that have a bit of heft. (like my JK-O -- it's not heavy, but it feels very substantial for its size)

i've been wanting a JK folder for some time now, but need a lock, so i was hesitant on the friction folders. but now that john is making framelocks again, i jumped at the chance to get on the order list! why? because even though i love fixed, carrying one around on my belt in the bay area attracts too much unwanted attention at times especially on public transportation. a folder is just more practical for me these days and i am building up my collection and am stoked to add a JK to the fold. i am also seriously considering re-ordering the toby's knife, but this time the v.2. the sodbuster handle just made it that much more handy and i'd love to have it as a fishing knife.

I still have lots of room in November, so if anyone would like to order anything, email me.

It would be easier to pick "if I could only have one JK", that would be my Kephart.

Which ones do I want? Every one of them that I don't have.

Wow. That is a very generous offer.

I'll take you up on it....

if you're willing to try out a couple of my JK's in return.

Let me know which ones you'd like to try out.

November is so far away though :(. I'm going to throw a new one out I just saw posted. The big titanium frame lock with chisel grind please.

Well if I had to narrow it down to one model, my choice would be the Anniversary EDC. Luckily I have one of these :D It's the perfect size- small enough for easy packing when you have limited space, yet large enough to split kindling and do other camping jobs. My other JK's (viKtim, LRK, tin knife) are awesome in their own ways, but are a bit more specialized I think. The viKtim is *great* for batoning and bigger chores, and the LRK disappears in your pack, totally out of the way until you need it. The tin knife takes this compactness to the extreme of course, and is just fun to use sometimes, reminding you how useful even a small edge can be.

I also now have an E.W.O.K. on order and can't wait!
