Anybody else regret selling or trading a knife you thought you wouldet miss. I sold a Tops Overlander not to long ago, and wish I wouldent have. Just wondering what you guys wish you could get back.

Sold my Swamprat for way to little & my Microtech Combat Talon II with the Walter Brend finish. So long good blades.

I don't have the problem, I don't sell my knives, not even the cheap ones sitting at the back of the cupboard.

I almost sold my BM 806 D2 once but, in the end, couldn't bring myself to do it.

I'm about to mail out a Benchmade 525. I'm having my doubts about selling it, but a deal's a deal. Great small folder and I know the new owner's going to love it.

I sold my two Al Mar Sere III Attacks, one with the micarta scales, the other neoprene.

Wish I had not, they are rare as a hens tooth now.

All the Busse's that I sold for about what I paid for them so that I could sell them for 3 or 4 times what I paid. :p

The only one I haven't replaced and probably won't (because they are so inflated) is the Scrap Yard Street Scrapper 4. Another would be the SR Chopweiler.

I've sold off other knives and come down with sellers remorse, and rebought them often for more money than I sold my other one for. Examples:

Hinderer XM-18 (which however I just sold again)
Scrap Yard Yard Guard
Scrap Yard Mud Puppy
Busse Game Warden
Busse Active Duty
Busse Meaner Street
Busse Skinny ASH

I traded a beautiful, flawless, perfect Al Mar SERE 2000 for a Camillus CQB-1 that looked like a blind alzheimer's victim built it. It still burns my biscuits to this day.

I have only sold 2 knives and the purchasers paid me to make it for them (I regret selling the ulu though- I think it was nice, but it is being used very often from what I hear so that is good), and I have no regrets about any of my trades so far, but there is one back on the exchange (or was) that I would not mind having again.

While I do miss a few of the knives I've given away, I find joy in knowing that the knives are being put to good use. As long as the person appreciates the gift, and the knife is used, it was worth it.

My biggest regret was trading off my first sebenza. I had saved up and sold off almost my entire collection at that time in order to get it. It was my grail knife which also held sentimental value.

Other than that, I feel okay about selling off stuff :D

My Gossman Tusker, A2 and desert ironwood. My large cocobolo Sebenza. Busse Game Warden (with a sheath :D). The various Benchmade 710's I've had.

An ABA LE (Busse Anorexic Badger Attack, Limited Edition). Thinking back, not the smoothest move I've ever made.

There are a few others, but that's the one that hurts.

My Cold Steel Bush Ranger in AUS-8A! I paid $40 for that one a few years ago at a gun show and sold it while looking for the perfect bowie knife. Little did I know, it was the perfect bowie knife!:grumpy:

There are a few knives that I have sold/traded/given away that I now regret letting go;

Spyderco Manix PE and CE
Spyderco Military PE and CE
Al Mar S2K
Swamp Rat Camp Tramp

I hope that those guys that have them now take as good care of them as I did....

If I were to list the knives that I've sold or traded-off that I wish I had back, I'd cry, and it's just too nice of a day to cry.:D.

I honestly can not think of a knife that I regret selling/trading off hand.

I really don't find myself regretting any of the knives I sold or traded. But I have come very close to trading some knives that I'm happy I didn't.
