if you could have just one knife in each of these 6 categories, what knives would they be?

Great thread to see what everyone likes and enjoys. 👍

I'm actually a bit shocked that the Demko AD20s and AD20.5s have only occupied a few spots in the fidget category. Man, if I'm on a long phone call, I pace and open & close one of my AD20.5 Shark Foot folders about a million times...and have the index finger callus to prove it.

I had no idea what a "fidget knife" was until I scored one of those.

Resurrected but I'll play ...

Small Folder, <= 3 inches : Spyderco Delica Cru-wear

Large Folder, 3.5 inches or more : Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter CTS XHP

Fidget knife, any size : I don't fidget with knives but ... Kershaw Lucha 20CV or Bradley Kimura Bali? I'd try to learn to flip a bali.

EDC knife, any size : Spyderco Manix 2 Cru-wear

Gentleman knife : LionSteel BestMan two blade jack M390. Not the biggest slip joint fan but it just feels right for the category.

Box slicer (folder or fixed, no utility knives) : Can you get a small Carothers AEBL fixed blade for $300 or under ($ limit set by OP)? That is my choice if possible. I tried to check prices on the site but most prices on threads were deleted.
My backup choices is Bradford Guardian 5.5 in 3V. Overkill for a box slicer but who cares :p

Under $300? That's no fun.

Small folder: Spyderco Para 2 CPM-SPY27

Large folder: ZT 0095BLK CPM-S90V

Fidget knife: Tie between Demko Ad20.5 CPM-3V (especially if I could remove the thumb studs), ZT 0470, ZT 0095BLK, and Brian Tighe and friends Twist Tighe small.

EDC: Spyderco Manix 2 CTS-XHP

Gentlemen knife: Civivi Exarch

Box Slicer: Demko ad20.5 CPM-3V

Over $300 my Cheburkov Strizh would occupy multiple categories, as would my Biryukov #12.
