if you could have only one knife

My custom dozier med-size folding hunter I EDC now. It's the best folder I've ever had for my needs / hands.
If it had to be a fixed blade, then the dozier arkansas traveler. Made also for my hands.

If only one it would have to be a fixed blade. It would either be my Cold Steel Master Tanto or Carbon V Trailmaster.

But being as the question said one, I guess the Trailmaster.

i might have to say buck custom 110 in bg42

I second that; I'd have a custom 110 made, and would have it converted to one-handed opening as well. I'm actually planning to have that very project done, but it's not in the works yet . . .

thx - cpr

Mine would be my CS Kukri. (Its one of the old Carbon V models). Because I'm obsessed about my tools I even use mine in the kitchen during food prep to gain an ever higher degree of skill with it.

I agree with ANRKST. My favorite knife is the kukri because it is so versitile. The Gurkas used it for everything from combat to food preparation. I spend the majority of my time outdoors and depend on a good quality knife that can take on any job, as well as be used as a weapon if the need arises. My next choice for my one and only knife would be my trusty Buck fixed blade.

That's a tough question.

It would be a Buck 110 for certain....but I'm not sure which one....

Bob Dozier Slim Outdoorsman, stag handles and leather sheath instead of the kydex normally supplied. I would much rather be allowed two knives, one for everyday use and one for hunting, that way I could have a medium stockman or something similiar to use outside of hunting.
