If you could make the Izula bigger? Would you?

I could like another 1/2" of handle, but for the most part I think the Izula is perfect. Actually, I'd rather have the Izula stay nice and compact, and add a 1/2" to the ESEE3 & 4 instead.

Initially (before I got it, and as soon as I opened it from the mail) I would have said "yes - it needs to be bigger" but then I used it... and used it and carried it and used it some more - it's just right the way it is, though - I just needed to get adjusted to it.

I had the same experience... when I first held it I thought the handle was too small, but when I used the Izula, it felt right at home. I think it is a great size for every day carry and use.

the izula is great as it is,..for bigger esee knives.... there is the HEST, rc3 and so on.....

I like the ESEE as it is. It is designed to be a really small knife, is it not? If it was any bigger, it would be in the RC3/HEST territory.

I would just buy the HEST, grind the prybar spike off, take the handle slabs off and wrap it in para cord. wam bam thank you mam.

It sounds like it is unanimous that the Izula is perfect the way it is. Thans for setting me straight. That being said, I will probably be picking one up in the not too distant future.

I'm happy with it as it is, and I've got quite large hands.

If I wanted something similar but larger, I'd start with the HEST and get customizing, hopefully ending up with something that was totally personal to me, as RYP intended.

I just got mine and I have to say I love it. It is the perfect size. I have large hands but this knife is just so handy and well made. If I need a bigger knife than I reach for one, but for my everyday use this is perfect.

The Izula is a perfect size, the HEST is a perfect size, the RC3 is a perfect size, the RC4 is a perfect size........see where this is going......lol

Its perfect the way it is, if I wanted bigger, than the 3 gets work duty. Not broken so no need to fix lol, if you want something skeletal get the hest and take the handles off.
