If you could only carry one knife the rest of your life ?

Practically a 6 and 4.1 is all i ever would need for the rest of my life

Impractically i need all the survive busse and cpk i can get ahah.

Any thought on whether you'd go with 3v or 20cv for a 4.1?

Ya, I'm waaaay in the impractical camp myself :D

Man that is the question right now. The 4.1 is right at the break for me. But ultimately I think I will go for 3V for it. I'm not going to say I'll pass up a 20CV version if I can land it first though.

4.1 in 3v is why I started this thread lol

I have the old spec. 4.1 in M390 (similar to 20CV, and its predecessor at S!K), but I'm jonesing for the Delta 3V version coming soon.

Guy went from ELMAX to M390 to 20CV. At the time ELMAX was all the buzz, that is until ZT apparently had issues with heat treatment. Guy switched from M390 to 20CV as it was a similar steel, but U.S.A. made. I don't hang out too many places here on BF, so I cannot say if M390 is generating excitement in other circles. My sense is that they are comparable steels, but I have no 20CV to compare. Perhaps others have some data they can share.
