Ummm...under what conditions?
You see, conditions mean everything when you ask a question like this. Who's paying for the knives, you or me? Are these the only five folders I'd EVER be able to own? Would I be in our own comfortable society or would I be competing for my life and food in some post-atomic halocaust? Or would I be living in an 1800s environment?
In each of the scenarios above, my choices would be vastly different. If you're buying, for example, and I'm living in our comfortable world of today, I might very well opt for an expensive folder with a fine Damascus blade, or an expensive plain folder like a Sebbie. But if I'm living in an 1800s environment or a world where knives can no longer be made except out of stone or bronze, I'd have to go for more practical choices.
In a post industrialized world (or a non-industrialized one), I'd probably have to say I'd pick:
1 Buck Alaskan Guide 110 w/S30V blade
1 Benchmade Skirmish
1 Benchmade Ruckus 610
1 Cold Steel Voyager Plain Edge 6-inch
1 Mel Pardue Handmade Custom Damascus
The last knife (below) I would choose because the blade's double-edged and for the knife's elegance and sheer beauty. I would be much more apt to buy something like that for $450+ than a plain knife because I would derive more pleasure from looking at it. And the Cold Steel Voyager I would choose for its size. I like the Benchmade quality and the 610 has an axis lock.
