I would go with the RMJ Shrike or Talon. I haven't beat up my Shrike much, but I have an old school Eagle Talon that I have torn up a lot of stuff with. I trust RMJ hawks to work for me in any scenario I can imagine.

Wow...great lookin' 'hawks. I've only handled a few 'hawks, but for me personally, my choice of "only one tomahawk" would be the James Helm (Storm Crow) "War Chief" model. I've handled this one and it's super comfortable, yet very sinister in it's performance...
