If you could only have two knives.....

My Entrek Jaguar(440c) and Junglee Military Bolo (Aus8) for survival situations.

If it's a mysterious reason that somehow that all cutlery manufacturers cease to exist, then it would be my Entrek Jaguar and Benchmade Nimravus (M2).

Hell, then I would find there would be little reason to exist in this reality.

My Victorinox Rucksack SAK and my BK&T BK-9. I'd miss my Spydercos, but they just don't quite have the versatility of the SAK or the Massive Hackage Factor of the BK-9.

I would be very sad if I had to live with only two knives, but if I had to make the choice, I would probably want one nice folder, and one nice fixed blade.:(

Folder - I'm really tempted to pick one of the larger Victorinox Swiss Army Knives, but if I actually look at the time used, I would have to pick my combo-edge Spyderco Delica with the fiberglass reinforced nylon handles. This knife just fits my hand so well and is my most common EDC knife.

Fixed - There are a lot of knives I could be happy with in this catagory (assuming I could be happy with just one of them!) but I think I would pick the drop-point Benchmade Rant. A nice size without being too big, should be able to do just about anything I would want a knife to do (note that since you didn't limit other edged tools, I would still have a nice axe so I would not need a really big knife as a chopping tool ;) )

Well if multi tools don't count then a BRKT Golok and a BRKT North Star
If they do then my RD6, flat ground with orange micarta and a vic huntsman

Huh.

Well, my Victorinox Yeoman would be knife #1, since I'd hate having to get by without all those tools in my pocket...

And my Spyderco Military'd fill spot#2, because I'd need something that could do double duty as a one-handed utility knife and hold its own in the kitchen. Bring it up to three, and I'd fill the one-hander slot with a Paramilitary, and keep my Shun 8" Chef's Knife for food.

I would choose a Graham ringed razel and a Strider SMF. My bank account would probably benefit if I only had two knives...
