1. My beloved SAK Classic. There, I said it. It's a favorite, and does most of my cutting.
2. A mid range Laguiole, horn scales, cork screw, stainless. 3 inches or there abouts
3. I don't use it much, but I like my Izula II a bunch.
4. Lm Charge. The first multi I bought.
5. Ditto, stainless Dragonfly

5)Victorinox fibrox 10" chef's knife(although I would switch to a 8" if I had just one kitchen knife)

This one is harder than the sub-$100 thread...also subject to change in the next hour or two.

1) Buck 110. I've had one on my belt pretty much every day since 1968 or 1969. (yes, that includes at church)
2) Mora #1
3) A large Stockman. (4 inch or longer closed)
4) A full size Moose or Trapper.
5) SAK Huntsman or 4 blade scout/camp or a "Demo" knife.

I'd have difficulty giving up my barlows, canoes, marlin spikes, (large) sunfish, Western L66, and a few others though.
There are times when they are the best tool for the job/task at hand.

...and everything is better with pictures. My Sebenza is at the spa getting a new blade, so you guys will just have to use your imagination for that one:D:D:D

Sweet picks. I have a Microtech socom (DP) waiting for me to pick up in Florida. I almost got a signature series but the blade grind might be labeled double edged by CBSA.

Looking forward to checking one out.

These questions, in part, highlight how sick this hobby is. Even 5 is hard! I went with a combo of what is actually practical in use + what would cause me real, actual physical pain to part with...o_O:)

Which Hinderer blade is that Scott?
It’s a razor edge custom re-blade. It’s pretty thin behind the edge...not sure exactly but the calipers just read ∞

Hard choices to be made but I think I got it.
1. XM-18 I guess I’ll go with this one sense it has my favorite finish combo the working lockside and stonewashed blade. Do have one of the fullered spear points in the mail tho so idk
2. TOPS Tex creek
3. Case Bose trapper
4. Case Bose premium stockman
5. Schrade Walden 885
Last was hard to pick but I couldn’t let my 885 go. Old knife nib early serial number I guess It would have to start getting carried
