If you could only own 3; what are the Best 3 Victorinox SAKs

Easy.

Camper
Cadet
Pioneer.

If MTs are allowed, sub in the Swiss Sprit for the camper.

Is the SAK attraction a urban tool in your pocket? I haven't been bit by the SAK bug and maybe it's my mindset on what I want in my pocket everyday. I migrate towards med to large folders. In the woods it would be a fixed blade.

I've seen the question asked what knife if you could only have one. Some people chose an SAK. I can't imagine unless there is something I'm not familiar with,
Depends on what you mean by "if you could have only one". If there was only one knife left in the world, I wouldn't wish that one to be a SAK, but reality is that usually when you need to use a knife, either there will be one there provided for you to use already, OR you will know in advance that you will need one and you can bring one for that purpose. For the rare occasions when you need a knife unexpectedly and there isn't one around in the area to use, a SAK in your pocket will likely do fine + you're more commonly going to find yourself needing to use one of the other tools than the blade anyway.

The Handyman? The Swiss Stallone? Hard to say. I find the Tinker pretty handy.

I hate to say it but, the Cadet comes out number one on my list.

Second is the Pioneer/Soldier in some form or another.

The third is the Mechanic. It is amazing how often I use the pliers.

Honorable mentions: Recruit and Spartan. Add plus scales to the Spartan and you have a great little knife for just about everywhere.

Alox farmer- Pretty much have it on me everyday.
Deluxe tinker- pretty much all the tools in a sak I want but not too big to carry.
Swiss tool spirit- Used any time I need a heavy duty multitool with pliers.

For me if the Swiss Tool was allowed as a choice would be;

if the ST wasn't able to be a choice, then it would be the Super Tinker as it has the pliers, my daughters lost many a tooth at the hands of my wife with those pliers ;) just the ones that were loose and they asked their mom to yank them out, no torture was done...at least none that I have heard of :)

I'm in IT, so I carry a Tinker everyday. For work, the Phillips head screwdriver trumps the corkscrew. I wish I could drink at work most days, but I really just need to screw :D and unscrew things. It's a lightweight tool and I use it all the time. I keep a Deluxe Tinker in my backpack though (add scissors and pliers with crimping tool and wire cutters) and I am totally set. I also keep the SwissChamp in my truck if all hell breaks loose!

I forgot to mention in my earlier post that I also love the Victorinox Swisstool Spirit multi-tool. I used to carry it a lot, but lately I rarely carry it. But it's my favorite pliers-based MT, and I keep it handy at home.

I actually don't count the Swisstool Spirit as a SAK, even though it uses many of the same tools as a SAK.
