Hi all - I've recently discovered these great knives! Just wondering if you could only own one RAT which would it be?

I am a really big fan of my RC-3 military - perfect size for almost anything yet not too big to EDC.

Wanted to do a poll but could not find the option...

If you want I'll post a poll for you ;).
As for me I would probably say the IZULA, just because of all the small use it sees.

RC-6 for me. I have a couple of RC-4s, and an Izula, but also have large hands. The RC-6 is small enough to fit in a small urban bag that I carry everywhere, and at the same time is large enough to give a decent grip. I also like the fact that it's significantly lighter that the Ontario Rat 7s. The sheath is ugly, but at least it's compact. I'd be interested to know what type of paint is suitable for the sheath.

For go-anywhere, do-anything versatility, I love my RC-3. You can dress her up and go out on the town one day and take her to the woods and thrash the hell out of her the next.

Rc-4.. Big enough to do some serious work yet small enough to be convenient.

That would be awesome if you could post a poll - I figure this could be very helpful for those just getting into RATs! I had a tough time deciding and read through all the threads to make a decision...

Interesting to see how popular the Izula is - had no idea! Might have to be my next :D

I'd pick the Izula. I've EDC'd it for work for awhile now, and it's incredible! Best knife for electrical work I've found. Skin's wires really well. I've even convinced some of my workers to buy them.
