If You Could....

Thanks. It's was in the cab of a pick up in the seat crack he was sitting on ith handle and covering the rest with a coat. Never would have known he had it, if I had not towed the car due to no drivers license. It's amazing what people will do.

I'm becoming a sucker for small EDC fixed blades. PDT 1/8 stock. RH grind in jade green, but orange would look good too.

For some reason I'm thinking a 1.5/1.25 PDT with thumb/index finger divots could be nice, but not sure if it will work on that small of a knife.

If I had the money...a Hudson Bay.
If I had more money..the Herters Improved Bowie,Phoenix Max,Rule #9,Trapline,Potowamie,& a Keebler Kephart to go with my Keebler Nessie, hell I want at least one of everything you make John.:)

Protourist:

3/16" stock
Forge finish
Black micarta
1/4" solid aluminum pin up front and 1/4" hollow aluminum pin at the rear for lanyard

Yep,there's another one on my list. But do we just call it the Protourist?I think that name is taken already.;)
Lovin' the reviews so far BTW.

Mr. Mqqn has been calling it the Cutlass. It is a fitting name I think.

It may make my list to, it's very nice to handle, i've been thinking of it as a cutlass to since mqqn said that. i think the designer should get to name it in the end though.

I would like the Camp and Trail model with a 5/32" blade, rounded spine, green micarta handles with red liners. The handle would have a little deeper finger cut out (similar to the all purpose outdoors knife you made back in September) and 3 aluminum pins holding it together and a lanyard hole.

I would get a Kentucky Woodsman that had a 3 1/2 inch blade with a 4 inch handle.

01
1/8 inch
lanyard tube
jimping
convex grind
polished black canvas micarta
fish eye bolts (2) two tone like below.
blue liners (thick) Like below.
Lefty leather sheath with metal pocket clip.

My other handle choice is below as well but since I already have one coming I'll stick with the black and blue combo.

A TTSK XL pretty much same as the original but with an inch longer blade, 1/2" longer handle and grind that comes all the way to the back of the edge !

A combo - kentucky fieldmate and a 10.5" bladed Hudson Bay (.25 steel) both with green micarta scales and a combo sheath system... (with a compass in the stock):D

Hi John -

Besides the knife I have on order already, I would order a RN9, Maple Burl, Brass, red liners, rounded spine.

I also really like Mack's latest design - the one I called the Cutlass - and that one would have three brass pins, Ebony, red liners, and in the thinner material to make it a super-slicer with a rounded spine if that is doable on the thinner material.

best regards -

I really like your traditional Canadian Belt Knife
Would have to go with curly maple handle, brass pins

There is a reason I started this thread. If anyone is actually interested in ordering a knife like they described, email me. Include the details of the knife (model, thickness, handle material, liners, pins, etc.) and I will email you the standard cost, and a special price for the knife. You are under no obligation to buy if the price does not sound good to you. Shipments would start in late February, and no payment is due untill I am ready to ship it. This offer will go through the end of this month.

Hi John -

Email sent!

best
