If you didn't like Rambo 1, don't click....

When I first opened this thread I laughed! Not in a bad way, I just couldn't believe you actually got a Becker to look like a Rambo knife and you did a hell of a job. First Blood is the movie that started it all for me! Why do you think I love my BK9 so much! :D

First Blood was the only one of the series I liked. The last one, Rambo, wasn't too bad. I thought the other ones were a bit silly.

Now as far as that modded BK-7...

The saw on the back looks great but the alteration made to the swedge is truly impressive.

well then.

i guess someone had to go that route ;)

whee

Let me see whether I can do some pics of the saw in action on the weekend.

"What d'you hunt? Elephants?" :D

Nice work, OP!

One word.............EPIC. First Bllod is on my "must watch" list. If it is on, I must watch it.

Super work, I love it.

I saw the pix and had a brief "Beavis and Butthead" moment, in a good way, thinking, "That is the coolest knife ever." I have a Buck 184 Buckmaster (has similar sawback), makes me want to take it and my 7 out to the garage and duplicate the saw teeth.

More pix when able, please!

Shit, I'd pay for a mod like that just to have something different. Very well done my friend.

Two more pics

Is the spine saw the best saw around? Definately not, it works, but it will be outsawed by a SAK saw anytime. Like with all the spine saws on WSKs, Buckmasters and Glock FM81s, it is a compromise. However, it gets the job done.

Not a criticism, but I never understood the necessity of saw teeth on a knife. It would seem to me it you have a large enough knife to utilize teeth effectively it would also be large enough to chop through easier than sawing. I also wonder if it would make it difficult to remove from a particular material when stabbing ( like animal hide ) I do have to admit they look cool but wonder if saw teeth would reduce rather than enhance a knives effectiveness.

Agreed, for most of the possible uses most of the time. Regarding the knife removal after stabbing, I don't think it would be a real problem

How about removal from metal, like a car hood? I haven't ever found a particular reason to stab a car hood in self defense but it seems other folks have found a reason to viciously attack such static materials and it would seem they feel that is a desirable attribute in a knife. Okay, I am kidding with this one of course. That is some nice work.

Man, how could I forget about the car hood. Hmmmm, guess I have to re-desin the saw..... ;-)
