If you had $200

thats a pretty vague question, what are you looking for?

edc folder?
woods blade?

for $200 you have tonnnsss of options.

I'd buy a bunch of Moras and stash them everywhere.. In the car, on the motorcycle, every bag, all over the house

I wouldn't get anything past like $100. One thing I would love is an Ontario XM-2. I would also love to get a CPM-D2 axis folder (I think the 710 was made with that steel, or maybe it was regular old D2 awesomeness).
I had an XM-1 and loved it except for the handle thickness, and the XM-2 is a lot thinner. I would also get the 710 because it was the first axis folder that really caught my eye in the hand.

A Bradley Alias....I've heard good things about this knife, and the blade steel, length, weight and construction all seem to match what I like. I don't own a titanium folder and from what I gather this might be the one for me; looks like a nifty EDC.

Well $200 enables some great knife choices.

Depending on the size you prefer changes things but I'd recommend....

Zero Tolerance 0550
Spyderco Paramilitary 2
Spyderco Persian 2
Benchmade 940 & 950
Benchmade Nitrous Stryker

Those are just a few choices, but I could go on and on lol.

If you want to go modern I'd say a Kershaw JYD II with a composite blade, and a SwampRat Ratmandue. Both of these knives, offer stellar performance given the price.

A keshaw JYD 2 composite blem a keshaw piston and a bradly Kimura balisong...........

For me? ZT0550. This thing is strong enough to take a beating but you can get the edge shaving sharp. The fact that its a Hinderer design is just a plus.

If you're looking for a fixed blade, I'd go custom in that price range. You can get some seriously sick knives for $200 from the right maker.

I'd probably snag a DLC para2 and a mora or I'd get in on a survive! pre -order.

Hogue EX-01 4" drop point in g10, this knife has become my favorite out of the many folders I own. I was skeptical about the 154cm blade steel and the cost of the knife, but it handles all my cutting needs and it is easy to sharpen. The more I use the knife the smoother it gets and the more I like it and appreciate Allen Elishewitz' s Button Lock design.
