If you had to sell them all but three, what would you keep?

As an aside,
one of the most creative and pointed names I've ever encountered is Last Visible Canary. I like it as much as Runs With Scissors. Just great.

My wifes father is part native american, so....that makes my two daughters with her part native american. A very small part, not that, that is a bad thng. Anyway..

Where was I going with this? Oh yea!

"Runs With Scissors" is my 9yr olds Indian name. She is the one that worrys me. She is totally into everything that I do. Thats scary!

I'am fine with the 20yr old in collage living away from home. I know what she is doing an:eek: and I don't want to think about it!

Himalayan Imports Kukri Virus. You will soon have it, best to tell you now that there is no cure.

I was feeling a little strange this morning. I've been holding myself back from just going ahead and e-mailing yangdu about a deal on a BAS.

Simply great to hear. RWS is also a respected poster here in HI forum.
It's neat how our handles have different meanings.

As for the virus- you're probably doomed.

First time I held an HI BAS, I knew I'd found the wilderness blade for me. Then I got more.

My daughters indian name is a joke, but it totally fits her! what I said is true about their heritage though. My youngest is always doing something that I see and think, DON"T DO THAT! Another name for her could be, "Scares Dad A Lot"!

I don't stop her to often from doing things, we all survived childhood, she will too.

As far as my handle, I use that name for most any forum I join. I play a little BASS as another hobby, (among many) Geddy Lee wanabe, thats me!

Allright off to bed, it's a worknight for me, and I have to get up unbelievably frigging early.

Very very difficult!

1) 18" WW II (Shop 1)
2) 25" lightweight Sirupati made by Bura
3) 18" Tin Chirra made by Bura

i'm so glad to see all these ww2's. on a forum so often pulling for fancy leafy fullers, carved handles, smoothly arched spines, and full tangs the ww2 is like the basic no frills workhorse. on another forum i was explaining the himalayan imports line and my entire post used the ww2 as the basic starting point for a khukri.

hah, cheer up man, shouldn't the fact that the real world is not this thread bring you some pleasing sensations?

It's been my experience in my short, almost 45 yrs, that function usuallly beats form.

Thats why I always look for comfort and performance as opposed to being just, sexy. Don't get me wrong, I can, and do appreciate graceful lines. I just see the beauty in many things that a lot of others say, What? Be it, cars, boats, planes, basses, whatever.

Thats also why I'll take Maryann:thumbup: over Ginger:thumbdn: ! Graceful lines but has the whole package.;)
