Keep all the knives you have,
BUT only be able to buy new stuff from ONE company for the rest of your life,
what company?
I think i'd have to go with Kershaw.
I know i've been bragging about CS, but im leaning towards Kershaw now.
I haven't been dissapointed with any i've bought, or handled.

What about you?
(By saying kershaw or ZT, they do count as one company.)
I know. another one of these threads...
:o:rolleyes:

Me, I would go with OKC, great fixedblades, great steel. I love 1095. IVe never broken one. if i did, im sure i was doin somthing wrong. because every knife i have from them is .26 thick. BUt i contest, For folders you dont have a lot of choices. the utilitac is pretty cool. the rat folder is good to.

Kershaw. They don't quite have the "cool" factor for me but they make an incredible range of useful, well put together blades.

In a perfect world- Hinderer. I've been lucky enough to FINALLY score one this year and while I'd love to buy more, just don't have the money for it. Realistically, I'd probably go with Kershaw/ZT.

I like Kershaw, too, and own several knives from them. I have some from CS, BM, Boker and a few others, too.

If I was limited to just one brand from now on, though, it would have to be Spyderco. I generally like their knives the best and they offer a wide rang of both folders and fixed blades.

I'd like some more of them. I only have one. A Tenacious. I bought it lightly used and it has alot of scratches in a weird spot that take me away from carrying it.

Scratches give the knife character IMHO Get out there and carry that thing.

I would go with Hinderer too but i wouldn't be able to afford it. Congratz on your new blade!

Oh no, i like scratches. I agree honestly. Theyre in such a strange spot. and alot of them. ill try and post a picture whether its on here or your profile soon

Production - KAI, this is cheating a little because it includes both Kershaw and ZT.

Custom - RJ Martin, of course.

Thanks Will. I wouldn't even own it though if I didn't get a good deal on it. Can't bring myself to drop $700+ on one. I still paid more than the $385 table price but nowhere near what they usually go for on the secondary market.

Looks like your liners have a bit of a burr and are scratching your blade every time you open it. If you have a torx set you can take the knife apart and lightly file those burrs down.

EDIT: Actually i believe the tenacious use hex bits but i could be mistaken.

the liners dont line up with the scratches. i already thought that

Slipjoints - Great Eastern Cutlery. Case is a very close second. I would actually have to be in that situation to know for sure.

Fixed Blades - Probably Bark River.

Lockblades - Definately Spyderco.
