If you had to....

As long as i can keep all the knives i have now, I would be ok with buying just spydercos or Zt's from now on. Probably ZT though just because of their customer service and overall quality of the knives. BTW, bladeboss you learned fast enjoy the forums!

Spyderco. There are many older discontinued models as well as current and future knives I'd like to get my hands on. I can't say that for many other companies.

Thank you! I knew i could do it.. :)

Before I said Spyderco, CS, Al Mar I would have to pick a custom maker, but then we are not talking about cost.

Condor for sure. Lots of both fun AND practical designs to choose from.

Emerson, they've never disappointed me, easy to sharpen w/o tools and take down doesn't require a hex wrench set

Spyderco...Hands down, especially if I got to keep what I already had. I've got my chopper needs covered by my Esee 6, so all I'd need would/want would be folders, and Spyderco has the best folders at decent prices and in the best variety of steels on the market IMHO.

Another vote for Spyderco, they make a knife for just about any need that you may have.

Emerson or ZT a close second choice.

Three months ago I would have said Benchmade and nothing else comes close, but I've been educated as to how far Spyderco and Kershaw have come over the past 10 years. Personally I would still say Benchmade but Spyderco and Kershaw would both be a close second. As it turns out the most recent knives I have purchased have been Kershaw and Spyderco.

I believe you could write Kershaw, Benchmade and Spyderco on 3 pieces of paper, put them in a hat, and draw out one name and that would be sufficient for most of us. If I had to get by with Spyderco or Kershaw I would still be good.

Hm, Yeah The Scratches Are In An Odd Place, But They Aren't Going To Effect The Knife's Performance. So I Would Carry It. You Think Your Tenacious Is Bad? You Should See My Persistence(Beater In Every Meaning Of The Word). Or My Manix 2 - It's Black/Black And Has So Much Coating Wear And Scratches Etc. It's One Of My Favorite Users.

Oh.. And As If It Weren't Crazy Obvious....
Spyderco - They Make My Favorite Knives, Plain And Simple.

Except for one CRKT, a Leuku, a Beretta, a S&W, a handful of Mora Swedish Army knives, and a small assortment of SAKs, pretty much every knife I ever buy is a Spyderco, so -- Spyderco!

.

Victorinox- Not being able to get a new decent set of kitchen knives would really bring the wife down.
Their folders are pretty okay for edc.
Their fixed blades are ....well they don't look like a fixed blade I'd normally buy, but I'd give them a go, other wise I could just use 1 of their bigger kitchen knives or cleaver.

Honestly, if there were some magic force that would prevent me from buying from more than one company in the future, that would probably be a net positive thing, from both a financial and OCD perspective.

Since I have enough one handed locking folders and SAKs, my pick of a company would be Case. My bank account would be safer, and I think I would avoid being obsessive about collecting.

Folders - Spyderco
Fixed blade- (hopefully custom) if not then Falkniven, on second thought ka-bar....

Count ZT as the part of Kershaw are kinda cheat :D

Either Kershaw or Spyderco would be a great choice.

I would say hinderer but you can't buy from them since they do not sell to the general public directly. They do have dealers but supply and demand means they are marked up 2x their worth. Next step would be to go to Les George.
