This is a great way to mark it and I'm sure SP shall enjoy carrying a knife gifted by the GHM himself.
 
Thank you for that great knife and thank you all for the well wishes. I was out knife-shopping yesterday, so a little late to respond here.
My grandpa's carving set was a Henkels Zwillingswerk, so that stamp has a soft spot in my heart.

It's here already, it's beautiful, and it smells like chocolate! And look at that elegant distal taper (shown next to case soddie jr).

That smell might be the mineral oil from IKEA. I got a nice cutting board from them, and it came with a little bottle of mineral oil that seemed to have been scented.:D

Maybe the Swede's like nice smelling cutting boards.
