If you missed me, here is why.

I don't know you, But you and your wife will be in my thoughts! I hope everything works out and you guys can move on to life as normal.

Nice to meet you Mike, now that we know one another, I do appreciate the thoughts flowing our way. May the Lord bless you.

That sounds rough, and I feel for your wife. I hope she gets well soon, and prayers sent. Best wishes

Hey there Jim, your wife sounds like quite a strong woman! I appreciate your willingness to let us "be part" of the process. I had a good time with necrotizing fasciitis a couple years back and had part of my thigh (fat/adipose, connective tissue, portion of femoral artery and a couple sections of muscle removed) removed and had to re-pack it 3x/day. I will never forget the first time after surgery when I was at home and had to remove the gauze - I have never felt pain like that at any other time in my life. It took me a few minutes to mentally prepare myself for pulling out the gauze; put a drumstick in my mouth and pulled the gauze and a whole lot of tissue out of the wound. My doc told me that would happen and that it would be quite painful but I wasn't expecting it to reach that level of intensity. I was 25 yrs old at the time and if I remember correctly the wound (which was an oval about 7" long and 3" across) took right about 11 weeks to close up. I walked with a cane for a couple months afterward but don't have any residual effects from it. The support I had from my wife was invaluable so I truly appreciate your willingness to put your wife's needs at the top of your priority list. As an aside, it might not be a bad idea to discuss supplementation such as proteolytic enzymes later on in the healing process.

God throws lots of different challenges at us as opportunities to help us learn, grow, and become better people. He also gives us prayer, family and the support of our brothers and sisters to help us along the way and keep us on the path. Prayers headed your way, Brother.

God bless,

Aaron

Headed to surgeon this PM and hopefully find out that no pockets have been formed, but it has been healing from the bottom of the wound to the top, nurse yesterday said the sides were closing in as well. For some reason, I know not why, my wife's sugars have been WAY down from her normal. I think this must be helping the healing process. We will find out for sure this afternoon.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, they are getting through.
Jim

Don't know who you are but I will certainly send some prayers for you and you wife. Hope it all works out.

Went under my Real name for a while and almost gave away boxes of Margarita Green G-11, over 30,000 to 40,000 lbs were sold. Nice to meet you and I do appreciate the prayers.

BTW: Dr visit cancelled due to a really bad headache and overall weakness, she just did not feel like making the two hour round trip. Keep praying, say one or two for me, I have eye surgery scheduled Aug 3, Dr said it would be a walk in the park compared to the dremel tool he took out the rust ring in my cornea a few weeks ago.

Prayers for both of you. I know from experience someone poking in your eye is no fun, couldn't imagine getting a drill tool taken to it. Have faith, and let your wife know were all pulling for her.
