That would be me. I just picked up a Captain Jack from Brian Andrews. D2 steel and Desert Ironwood handle. I gotta find a reason to justify taking this on the trail, so I think a pirate's costume is in order...

Might just do that. It's been a while since I scared some kids.

That is an amazing looking blade:thumbup:

What is the thickness of that one? (Maybe a top view:p)

Yeah, I should do a top view. I kept it at 1/8th. Brian was dying to go thinner so I could do surgery with it, but I held my ground.

That looks really nice. Looks like it has a little Sharpfinger in it's bloodline. Little Roach belly too. Bet it would be a good hunter.

Holloween of course. A man shouldn't need any excuse ever to dress like a pirate, but there's always National Talk Like a Pirate Day

MMMMM, was just talking about a design similar to my CS roach belly on another thread. This one fits nicely. I love cutting with thin stock knifes. Do they come in some softer steel? Something I can just touch up quick with a pocket stone?

That is perfect thinkness for this knife.

I could not imagine trying to unsheath it if it were any thinner.

Brian provides the option of making his models in O1, A2 or D2.

Looks like a great score. I got to handle Brian's personal model last time we camped out back in August. That tip is pointy as heck! Great little blade!
