I also wish they would bring the 550 back, maybe a little slimmer. I had one in my hand at a dealer yrs ago, but being the idiot I am I didn't purchase.
 
I like the idea of showing up for a tour and being able to watch your own knife being made. That's pretty cool even if there was a small premium on the knife. I'd very much like to see a 0600 made right in front of me for me. And to have some kind of say in the materials used would set it off.

And yeah, they're USA made. But still not an American company any more than Toyota who makes trucks in Texas. That means nothing in today's world unless you're Uber patriotic and the company you buy from purchases materials and hardware made strictly in America, including the electronics you use to prop you up on your soap box.

Man you are a riot, I think if civility was a concern of yours you should have exercised that virtue yourself before making many of the comments you made. If you want to pretend you weren't being abrasive and condescending right out of the gate that again is your right to do. But don't try and con me into some BS that you had good intentions. To me, it seems you are trying to back peddle and ease your tone when you didn't see a huge rally behind you backing you up. No one is entitled to anything. This is true. And that includes you. You are not entitled to keep ZT as your sacred cow and proclaim they cant expand. You are not entitled to trash an entire thread with your fabrication of words pretending others wrote them. You are not entitled to bring politics into a part of a forum that doesn't allow it. No matter how this ends, remember you started it. And just because it didn't work out the way you hoped doesn't mean you are entitled to pretend you had other intentions. I wouldn't call someone who opposes your fantasy ZT strider an elitist either. Not just because they disagreed at least. But rather because of how they chose to engage the other person over that disagreement. But in this case the shoe fits.

Keep trying to pass all blame and play the victim. Youve include far more personal attacks, at least I stayed on message about ZT, knives, and yes, China. Here's my post we've been fighting about since page one, because face it, we don't like each other.

If ZT ever pulled that kind of move, they would be bigger sellouts than Gerber, as one of ZT's primary selling points is "Proudly Overbuilt in the USA". Besides, isn't Kershaw KAI's chosen outlet for scrap metal manufactured and assembled by slaves over in the PRC?

If you were the hypothetical CEO, you might find yourself in some hot water with not only the board of directors, but with the workers as well

Dude, get used to it here. The mods and the owner like contentious threads and will allow it until it's possible that what's being talked about may actually cost sponsorship dollars. Keep it within those parameters and you can act as shocked and disturbed about immaterial and unsubstantial things matter as much as the next guy. Just keep your trolling in line as much as the other trolls and you'll be fine. Argue as much as you want to, create discontent as much as you want to, cause genuine ill will as you want to, just keep the sponsorship dollars flowing and don't break any obvious rules.
