If You Were to Carry One Busse into Battle...

Thanks everyone. The blade catch/bottle opener is a cool attachement but I like the way the lines flow when it is not on the knife. Besides I hope to never be in a knife fight. Is the bottle opener effective? What are the dfferences between the CG Uncle MOFO and the LE Uncle MOFO? One has satin finish and the other has the crinkle finsih, right? What other differences are their?

CG on the Mofo series was not the same as the normal combat line.

A CG Mofo (either style) was a double cut blade finish and canvas micarta handles.

A LE Mofo (either style) was a satin blade finish and paper micarta handles

keeping in mind that there is a difference between battle, combat, and fight

battle can meen iether, combat is generally into a combat zone (meaning normally hard use general utility), and a fight is a physical altercation.

for combat probably my .220 saber ground le satin jack... using it at work to break and pry off ice from the freezer and various tasks, it seems like the best choice for hard general use from the others ive seen. i know the thinner knives can handle the abuse, but it still feels good in the hand.

for a fight, i dont know. possibly a ringed fighter, maybe the comrambit... probbaly try to get something custom made...

Depends. Are you talking about one you own, or any?
If it's one I own, I'd have to say probably the Big Barf.

On second thought,
maybe I'd take a catapault with me.
And stuff peter and he EU-17 in it.
:p

At least I would die with my Busse in hand just in case I can take it with me to the other side. :D Although, you might just take the knife and then launch the catapault. :(

screw it, id get a custom made longer ak with a curved blade, with a custom made ak patterned knife with a 6" blade - no choil :D :D :D :D

for a military all purpose knife i would take a Force One because it is small enough to carry yet still can do most anything plus it is very lively in the hand.

the mr.mofo is just a tad bigger giving it a blade heavy balance for more chopping power.

for actual fighting i would want a hawk like the new atc emerson.
as bill bagwell said what kind of Neanderthal, knuckle-dragging bad-ass fights with a small ax? :D

Yes, those Force One is a very attractive and fuctional knife. I do not own one but it looks like that tanto tip is an excelent penetrator. It aslo looks very cool with satil and black paper micarta.

i've got snakeskin/satin from the co.store :D

imo it has the best handle yet

i honestly found the mr. mofo to be to handle heavy for my tasts in a knife that size... coming from HI khukuries, and even a battle mistresss, it was like the blade dissapeared...

my .220 saber lesj felt heavier in the blade...

but then i do own a 30" ang khola, so my idea of heavy is slightly skewed...

man the firemans ax from busse looks awesome....
