If you work in an office what knife/knives you carrying today?

8 inch boot knife in the office? That's a man after my own heart.

Of course, I'm a Marine, but it's not like terrorists are going to attack me while stateside in garrison. I'm still carrying a Microtech DOC and a ZT 0560. I always have at least two knives, and they're usually around the 4 inch blade mark.

That being said, I'm an anomaly, even in the Marine Corps.

Y'all are lucky nowadays, the last office job I had was in D.C. working for the FAA between '84 and '95. Even though by D.C. law it was illegal, I wore a Gerber Gator in a sheath sob (small of back) underneath my suit jacket. The maintenance inspectors I worked with didn't blink an eye at it but didn't take it out outside of FAA HQ's. Wish I had the the options that are available now but wasn't much available back then.

:) Why bother with anything smaller! The boot knife just feels so good strapped in my boot shaft all day I forget it's there. Do you change up daily? BTW I looked for the Mircotech DOC online and am not having much luck. Looks like an awesome blade.

Blade HQ usually has them in stock. It is definitely a sweet knife. I do change up quite frequently, but sometimes a knife wins pocket space for a long time. Either until I get bored with it, or until I get something else I like better. The DOC has been riding along for a couple of months now. Been rotating the second one though. Today it's a Spyderco Police.

Spyderco Police is my #1 choice these days. Love that blade and it snaps open with force which makes me feel warm inside!
