I'm sorry to hear that Dan, it seem many times we don't know what we 've got till it's gone or in danger of going. You and your mother are in my prayers tonight.

it's been a long last few days with My mom in the Hospital
we transferred her from the one on the coast 235 miles from here the first day to one
(bigger and better EMMC) about 35 miles away..,
and it looks like it was for the best so far..
she got a bad bug but they got it they think?,,, and now we have to see if she can recover.
liver damage, one heart valve, and the kidneys are almost shut down still. she's still on life support but now
at about 50%, and getting some color back
in her face,, it could turn around anytime so I'm not relaxing yet.
I got some sleep last night , my dad I hope did also last night
last I knew he hadn't gotten any sleep for at least 48 hours,
he won't leave her side.. I logged on about 1100 miles in the last 3 day's and had to get some sleep.
I feel a lot better about her heath now compared to the chances she was given of about 35% of making it..

I can't describe the feeling I got from all your input when I got back to the forums this morning. :)
My niece is on her way back from the war,, got word she's in Kuwait this morning and on the last leg of the trip today
and will be here tomorrow,
so it will give her 9 days from the crap over there.:)
I'm gone,, again thank you......

She's added to the list Dan. I doubt very much that misery loves company in this case, but I'm going through much the same thing. The stroke she had was minor to all the other problems they found when she went to the hospital.
