If you're in search of a good blade to put straight through a wrist look no further

Praying for a super fast recovery. Hang in there brother.. I have made some bad mistakes myself when handling blades too. They will bite you from time to time. But hope you get well soon!

Ow!

Well, just in case you are permanently a lefty, I'd be willing to take all your right-handed knives! :D

Seriously, though, I'll be praying against that. Good luck in the healing process, and the therapy.

So, what did your friends think? Any smart-aleck comments?

I'm sorry you did that. No fun at all. And I complain about carpal tunnel...

I echo what everybody else said. Terrible accident but could have been worse. At least you'll recover. I feel for you guy. Hang in there. No fun only having the use of 1 arm. I know-I had rotator cuff surgery. Work hard @ PT. You'll be OK.

Good Lord, Almighty! I'm praying for your complete recovery. It's already been said... Infection is your worst enemy.

Vaya con Dios, hermano y buenas suerte, tambien!

Captain O

I imagine that standing there after the incident that your pride hurt much worse than your wrist.
We've all been there in one way or another and I truly hope that both your pride and your injuries heal quickly and completely.
No need for a stamp collection but please keep up on therapy NON STOP until they tell you to-it's of the utmost importance to properly healing. I'm still in PT for a total shoulder replacement which was my 4th surgery in 4 years, add to those several sessions of PT for other idiotic mistakes ( lots of fun though ) and I've been in physical therapy more times than I remember. Be sure not to let a single day slip by without doing the prescribed exercises, even one day can set you back a long time in recovery.

Good luck to you.

Glad it was only 420HC, if it had been S90V you might of taken your whole hand off.

Heal up, listen to the Doc & Therapists/Terrorists. If you need any tips how to do things 1-handed let me know, been dealing with that since 1999.

Hate to hear this. Unfortunately knife accidents happen even to the most responsible knife people. Don't beat yourself up over it. I hope you heal quickly and get full use back of all your digits!

Oh no! That sucks big time. Hope that you recover fully.

Will put your situation in my family prayers.

Just think of the funny stories you will be able to come up with to explain the scars.:D

sorry for your accident. As it is well noted, stuff happens. A classic knife, Buck 110 , big heavy blade. Well I hope you get a full recovery and just know, nothing you did caused it, knives cut stuff. Take time with rehab and I'm sure you got all the necessary shots. I have cut myself and Epson Salt does wonders later once you get the stitches out, but of course your Dr. will be looking after you. I hope you are able to work through it. Take care and thanks for sharing to remind all of us to be ever careful.

Good for you! Now you have an excuse to buy a lefty sebenza. Or maybe a protech Doru. Hell go full custom! You are cripple after all. Allowances have to be made.

Also, I'd skip the "I stabbed myself in the wrist" story and just tell folks you caught a cheerleading competition on ESPN 2.

Heal up quick sir. Eat green stuff, it'll help.

A good and full recovery to you friend, and thanks for taking the trouble to post this, one of the BF posts that helps me remember to watch what I'm doing when using a knife.
