I have recently been fortunate enough to receive a jar of George's home concoction. I am very pleased with it. MUCH better than any hottest of the hot I can find in stores. For one thing it is not only something that can be used as a VERY hot sauce but there is the extra BIG bonus of little thingies in it (I presume them to be peppers and stuff, of which it is made) that is not usually found in off-the-shelf sauces of this caliber.

My experience to date is that I occasionally get into the fridge to dip my finger into the hot but delicious jar and enjoy (for about an hour or more per the tiniest drop). This stuff will be great in any dish that requires hot spicing. There is so much of it compared to how far it will go that I think I will divy it up into smaller containers and freeze for long term protection against lose.

I have heard lots of kidding and sometimes down right threats over this relish but my appraisal of it is OUTSTANDING.

I am almost out of Brownells PBC Non-Scaling Compound and that is only one of the reasons I am so happy to have this relish on hand.

Thanks again George.

Roger

HEHEHE!!! Glad you are enjoying it. As long as you keep it in the refrigerator it will not go bad. It will just collapse on it self and get more concentrated.  I had some in the frig for 3 years. I promised someone else a jar, but I forgot who it was.
HEAT TREAT'G RELISH

90% HABENRO
10% CAYENNE OR SMOKED PEPPERS
KOSHER SALT
BALSAMIC VINEGAR
GARLIC
BASIL
OREGANO
WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
EV OLIVE OIL

90% HABENRO

Holy cow, my "make a grown man cry" chili only has a few habenro peppers in it, that must be some impressive sauce. I thought people were exagerating since most people can't take truely hot food, but now I want a taste :p .

What do you have to trade??? Roger is HT'g a blade for me. Tom Militano is sending a block of wood. :D :D

One should always be careful about what they wish for.

IG's HT Relish is not for the weak of body. I, like many, have found very few hot sauces that live up to their claims. Although not the absolute hottest I have experienced, it will sneak up and get your attention right after the convulsions start to fade.

Use it sparingly and do not leave it unattended with young people or the uninitiated.

Store it in the refrigerator, away from any flammable items.

Obtain your CPR certification and keep it up to date.

Hey I.G., I just got home with the relish. My darling wife asks what I have, and I try to explain what its like. Finally I dip a toothpick in and tell her to try it. Puts it in her mouth for 1 nanasecond, eyes bug out, face turns red, runs to faucet and puts her head under to guzzle away. Tears stream down her sweet face, and she then proceeds to unleash a blue streak! I told her to call you and give you her opinion. You almost put me on the couch for the night!

Hmm, I'll have to see what I have that's good for trade. Think some bocote wood would be of interest to you?

Roger, good to see you have discovered the miraculous properties of that vile concoction. IG should just quit making knives and start marketing that heinous crap. He'd be a rich man. So with that said, here's my favorite way to use that disgustingly-addicting glop:

Higgy's IG Relish Brat Sauce

One cp mayonnaise
One tsp HT Relish
One Tb Dijon mustard
Two Tb finely minced onion

combine and use on grilled brats or pork tenderloin. This stuff effin rules! I'm going to try a less-firey version on some grilled cornish hen today. :D

I have bocote. But no problem it's all in the principle of trading. :D :D

I would be careful if I was you, she may coat the crouch of your undershots with it.

I.G. that aint even funny! I'd end up at the hospital in a decontamination room waiting for Hazmat team to arrive. Do you have an MSDS sheet on the relish?

Jay: It is more like hazardous waste. :barf: I believe a MSDS sheet need not apply????  :D :D

Just a verly little taste is good for an hour. I still ocassionally dip a finger tip into it just to enjoy. The stuff is powerful but good. I am anxious to try a smidge of it in my next jumbo.

I just shoot me a gray squirrel out of my window. I wonder if that Redskin Squirrel Eater has a recipe that I could use my HT’g relish in to cook this sucker up. :barf: :barf: :D
I only have 4 more trading jars left. 1st come 1st served. :)

Out of your window? That ain't going to get many adda boys from the ol'Injun. Did you muster up enough energy to go fetch it?

I appreciate you willing to trade just for the fun of trading, I'd like to give you something you actually have a use for though... what about a piece of one of the new alabama damascus blends L6/15n20/5160/1018, or a block of stabalized spalted sycamore?

Roger: I had to. It fell dead in the next yard. I just wanted to wing it and to see what the dogs would do. Ferrari is a rat dog (Skipperke) and I wanted him to kill it.  I told John that he should come up to my backyard to hunt those tree rats, he would have better luck. I have a butternut tree in the yard and so has a few of my neigbors. I just missed another one of those tree rats 10 minutes ago. :grumpy:

The sycamore is more than enough the jar is only worth $8 to $10. But if I sold it in BTU's it would cost alot more. ;) :D
